During my time with Xerotech's marketing department, I had the chance to visit EPCA in Perth, Australia, where we created a video for the XT Projects series. I planned, edited, and filmed the project with Eleni Kalantzi, showcasing EPCA’s innovation and Xerotech’s cutting-edge solutions.

Meet Lieze Mari Van Tonder, a Mechanical Design Engineer at Xerotech who moved from South Africa to Ireland for new challenges. After studying at the University of Pretoria, she now works on next-gen battery solutions. I, along with Eleni Kalantzi, planned, filmed, and edited this episode, highlighting Liz’s journey. Outside of work, she enjoys new hobbies like guitar and soccer, while contributing to Xerotech's innovation in electrification.

Meet Carlos Fonseca, a tool injection designer at Xerotech who moved from Portugal to Ireland in 2021. With a decade of experience in automotive injection plastics, Carlos plays a key role in Xerotech’s battery solutions. Discover his passion for environmental conservation and Shotokan Karate, and how he brings his love for the sea from Portugal to Ireland.

Commissioned by Knight Frank, I created a video in collaboration with artist Shane O'Malley for his large mural celebrating No. 12 Dawson Street, Dublin. I shot and edited the video, capturing the creative process behind Shane's artwork and its significance. This project showcases the vibrant culture of Dublin and the intersection of art and architecture.

I shot and edited a video in collaboration with Moonfish Theatre Galway for their 2023 play, "The Crows Way." This project captures the creative process and themes of the production, highlighting the talented cast. My role involved producing engaging visual content to promote the play, contributing to the vibrant arts scene in Galway.

I was the First Assistant Director and provided technical assistance for the Director of Photography (DOP) in the Babylamb music video, directed by Jamie and Conor Hooper. My role involved coordinating the shoot and managing the set to ensure a smooth production process while supporting the DOP in achieving the desired visual style. This collaborative effort resulted in a captivating and engaging music video.

I shot and edited a video for Sarah Mason Professional, highlighting the beauty of their hair products as a model showcases the latest trends. This visually engaging project emphasizes the quality and effectiveness of the products, providing inspiration for hair styling. The video promotes Sarah Mason Professional's brand and commitment to innovative hair solutions.

"The Night Before Christmas" was a holiday video created by the Xerotech marketing team. The entire team collaborated on this project, from concept to completion. Featuring VFX by Adam Stewart, starring James Grech, and edited by Jannick Pommerenck, this festive video captured the holiday spirit with creative storytelling and technical skill.

I co-shot and edited the music video for "My Home - Cover" by Lieze-Mari van Tonder, a South African immigrant in the west of Ireland. This heartfelt cover captures her longing for home, expressing the duality of being an expat and feeling torn between two places. Through powerful visuals and emotional storytelling, the video conveys the experience of having your body and heart in different locations.

I directed and produced an advertisement for EZ Living in collaboration with their marketing team for the summer line-up, "Summer is EZ Living," in 2019. This project featured visual effects and set extensions using green screen, enhancing the production quality. It was a fantastic opportunity to work with the talented EZ Living team, bringing the essence of summer living to life through engaging visuals and creative storytelling, showcasing their commitment to quality and style.

I was commissioned by EZ Living Furniture to create a Christmas advertisement showcasing three sets representing different times of the year. Using a sweeping camera move, we digitally edited the separate sets to appear as one continuous shot. Green screen set extensions were employed for exterior visuals, enhancing production quality. This innovative approach highlights the festive spirit and versatility of EZ Living Furniture’s offerings.

I shot and edited this enchanting video, with Julia and I co-directing the project together. The main location for our filming was Barna Woods, which provided a stunning backdrop for our creative vision. This collaboration showcases our passion for storytelling and the beauty of nature, inviting viewers to experience the magic we created together.
