"Juniper" Short Film | 48 Hour Film Challenge Winner

"Juniper" is a gripping short film born from our exciting journey at the 2022 48 Hour Film Challenge in Galway, Ireland. Our team, The Unmentionables, comprised 12 passionate filmmakers, with me as team captain and director. The screenplay and production were brilliantly crafted by Jamie Hooper and Conor Hooper.

During those intense days of creativity and teamwork, we overcame challenges to bring our suspenseful thriller to life. Following the competition’s strict guidelines, we crafted a compelling story under five minutes, weaving the line "if only you told me sooner" into the narrative. Our hard work paid off as we won Best Film, along with awards for Best Actress and Best Original Music.

"Juniper" premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh 2023 in the "Way Out West" program, a testament to our team's passion and dedication. The 48 Hour Film Challenge was an unforgettable experience, highlighting the power of collaboration, creativity, and perseverance in filmmaking.
