THE BOAT 2023
In mid-2022, I was invited by Luke and Jake Morgan of the Morgan Brothers to join them as the cinematographer for a narrative short film aimed at raising awareness about leprosy. Shot in Nepal, from the bustling streets of Kathmandu to the serene beauty of Pokhara, this powerful project is now on the Oscars 2025 longlist.
Over a month, we captured compelling stories, highlighting the lives impacted by leprosy. Our shared passion for storytelling helped create a meaningful film that fosters compassion and understanding. This unforgettable journey in Nepal, filled with cultural immersion and creative synergy, not only raised awareness but also solidified our friendships.
